Kathmandu Adventure Tour

Welcome to Nepal! We start this exciting tour by taking a half day tour of the Kathmandu valley. You rest and do some light shopping in the famous Thamel area where you will be staying for the night. Thamel is packed with various nightclubs, bars and pubs full of local and foreign tourists. It is really popular for its nightlife where pubs and nightclubs are open till early hours of the morning.

We start our tour after breakfast and head to the heritage sites in Kathmandu. We roam the streets of Basantapur Durbar square famous for the centuries old palaces built by the ancient Malla and Rana rulers of Nepal. We then head to the Freak Street (locally- Jhochhen). Freak Street is known to be the ending point of the famous Hippie trail during the 60s and 70s with lively pubs and bars packed with foreign tourists. We head to Patan durbar square in Lalitpur district recently declared the first cycling city in Nepal. We visit some other heritage sites like Boudhanath stupa and Bhaktapur Durbar square before reaching the hilltop town of Nagarkot, really famous for the views of the majestic Himalayas. The view of Mt.Everest and the traditional lifestyle of the locals lure tourists to this place

We head to the Himalayan view point early in the morning this day enjoy the wonderful sunrise through some of the highest mountain peaks in the world. We have our breakfast and go hill hopping towards the beautiful and ancient town of Banepa and Dhulikhel. Adventure seekers can enjoy the Zipline available in Dhulikhel which provides gorgeous views of the Langtang-Lirung Himalayan range, Ganesh range, Dorje Lakpa Himal, wonderful woodlands and many ancient towns in this beautiful region. We can either head back to Thamel in the town center which is a 2 hour drive away or stay at a resort in Dhulikhel.

Adventure seekers love the thrill and adrenaline rush of jumping from 160 meters to a ferociously flowing river. We can drive to the Bhotekoshi River early in the morning for Bungee. We can then head back to city center as this will be the final night you spend in Kathmandu. The night clubs and the bars will be welcoming you when you reach Thamel for a full night of partying at the popular Lord of The Drinks after the thrills in the outskirts of Kathmandu.

The last day of your stay in Kathmandu, you can spend it visiting the famous Garden of Dreams and many other historic sites around Kathmandu valley. We can go on a sightseeing tour to the famous Swoyambhunath Stupa before you leave this beautiful city.
